I don’t know where to begin. Maybe I should start with your gorgeous smile behind that space suit. Hundreds of paradoxes, numerous conspiracy theories, and countless laws still can’t espy the secret you have been enchanting for billions of years in brightening the universe with the mysterious power. You ignite the cold, dead comet inside me with your smile and politeness and make me fall for you like a shooting star. I always wonder how I get attracted to you, Dawn and Dusk: My world revolves around you as the earth revolves around the sun. The light of a million stars takes me into the past, but you take me into a future of bliss and purposeful life. Every light year I go away from you is like my soul is twisting in the silence of hopelessness.

I have watched you, standing in the serene of the moon on the highlands of Mars. And I desired to twirl in your arms on the rings of the blue giant with the music of gravity. I vividly recall the day when all the living species ventured on a journey to Mars, leaving the bluish-green planet transformed into shades of grey with no indulgence. I held your hand for the last time on the edge of the spaceship. I leaned and asked, “How long is forever?”. You whispered in the lobe of my neck, “Sometimes, Just a few seconds,”.

The memories of us endured like the parade of blue-coloured ripples under the eternal light of the sun. Neath the twinkling canvas of the seashore, I said,” I am a selenophile,” in a hushed tone. You wove words into the evening air, saying, “Our hearts tend to fall in love with the moon because of its distance. When it’s near, our insecurities cast shadows upon the purity of our love.” There are dreams lasting an instant in which everything seems frozen for an eternity.

We repetitively emphasize something that is not ours as I combed for love in you, our scientists scoured for life other than the earth. We all let it happen: the flaming trees, the dead unborn shuttlecocks, the languorous mist. We never believed in fixing it in the first place. We considered running away from the damage we created just like you never thought of accepting me and ran away.
