In the cold mist evening,
The hustle and bustle of the sea,
broken hearts at the shore,
with the ashes and hopes,
you walk into waves, disappearing into the skies.
The breath became more treacherous,
Once verdant land turned into the land of blood and smoke,
the languid dust cloistered between,
the scorching sun and the shimmering moon,
the stars sobbing in the hushed tears.
They try to be so picture-perfect,
I swear, those nightmares still haunt me,
the memories slowly fading into the realms of nowhere,
so did the scars,
it is burning my skin.
The planets are preparing for the eulogy,
the eco-friendly bombs sailing the ships,
humanity lost in the pages of the dictionary,
oxygen whispers in the dust of the mars,
where rovers seek the breath of life,
yet on the earth, in the soil’s gentle hold, the roots of trees stay silent.
travelling on the guilt trip,
I should have never left you in the dusk of insatiate light,
an unreturned twin,
perhaps, a Half-cell.
