It was one of those evenings in December, with whispers of cold breeze: sun busy in setting and letting the moon shine. We returned from our colleges and relaxing a bit. My brother and I are in our room, chit chatting about the day routines. I left the room for some shores to be done.
When I came back I had heard him weeping silently in the corner of the room, though I didn’t ask him the reason. My mother returned from school. She came to our room to greet us, and she saw him crying. She sat near him and pondered a dozen questions. He didn’t answer for anything.
After failing in controlling his crying , she simply said boys don’t cry. That one dialogue has anticipated his weeping further more.
Laughing whole heartedly is as important as crying out. Letting our emotions out is as same as breathing for surviving. I wasn’t saying; just watch your loved one cry but don’t judge them. Irrespective of gender, letting it go is something we should learn from childhood.
